bad-art-web-flierHey NYC, check this shit out. If you’re “cool” man, I suggest you go. If you’re not cool but aspire to be cool, then I really suggest you go. Naw, but fo realz this event should be heaps of hip and fun, so make like a dog in heat and get on it.

Tickets to New York Magazine’s second annual “Bad Art Auction” are on sale now. Hosted by the hilarious Judah Friedlander of 30 Rock, the night will be rounded out with a full set performance by the band Xiu Xiu.

Velvet canvases, paper mache masterpieces and anything having to do with ponies may be just some of the items the audience will be able to bid for at this one-of-a-kind event. Buying bad art feels so good when proceeds benefit theircharitable partner, New York Cares.

There will be complimentary cocktails from Cape North Vodka, complimentary drinks from Glaceau, and the chance to win a brand new Gibson Guitar or a pair of Saucony Originals!
