Historics Cover Sub Society in Classic Homage to the Golden Age of Skateboarding

Historics have a brand new video out for their cover of Sub Society’sA Lot Less.” The track is off their just-released debut album, “Strategies for Apprehension.

The clip is a tribute to the original Matt Hensley part in “H-Street’s Hocus Pokus” video (1989) which features the original Sub Society version. It was directed by Patrick O’Dell and features the following skaters: John Rattray, Alex Olson, Braydon Szafranski, Andrew Allen, Heath Kirchart, Mike Rusczyk, Chris Pastras, Clint Peterson, Clark Hassler, Kevin Spanky Long, & Matt Hensley

2009 Eagle Rock Music Festival – FREE

It’s going to be a fun-filled weekend in LA with all sorts of events going off. Saturday being the focal point of fun! Aside from the highly anticipated Venice Beach Skate Park opening, and the 5th Annual Johnny Ramone Tribute, the Eagle Rock Music Festival will also be going off this Saturday, Oct. 3. Each year this unique festival gets bigger and bigger. In 2007 they had 15,000 attendees while in 2008 they doubled that number to 30,000!

Hipster or not, if you like an eclectic mix of music that doesn’t drown itself out in the poisonous mainstream, I highly suggest you check the Eagle Rock Music Festival out!
